Credentials

Amanda Richardson holds the following credentials:

• Board Certified Doctor of Functional Nutrition (BCDFN) awarded by the American Nutrition Wellness Practitioners Board (ANWPB). This is a post-graduate board certification in functional nutrition, not a medical doctorate. It is distinct from an MD, DO, or PhD and does not confer the ability to diagnose or treat medical conditions. Functional nutrition training completed through the Functional Nutrition Alliance.

• Certified Functional Nutrition Counselor (CFNC) awarded by the Functional Nutrition Alliance.

• Certified Reiki Practitioner, Holy Fire lineage awarded by Astralis Healing formerly Lead by Light

• Certified Shamanic Healing Practitioner awarded by Astralis Healing formerly Lead by Light

 

The title Doctor of Functional Nutrition reflects board certification at the doctoral level of functional nutrition practice and is used in accordance with credentialing body guidelines.

Services provided do not constitute medical advice, medical diagnosis, or medical treatment. Nothing discussed or recommended during sessions should be construed as a substitute for professional medical care. Always consult your physician or qualified healthcare provider before making changes to your medications, supplements, or treatment plan.

Emergency Care

NOURIVA does not provide emergency or crisis care. If you are experiencing a medical emergency please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately.

Virtual Services

​

Services are provided virtually. Amanda Richardson is based in North Carolina and operates in compliance with applicable state regulations. It is your responsibility to ensure that receiving virtual wellness services is permitted in your state or jurisdiction.

Cancellation, Rescheduling and No Show Policies

​

Standard Appointments

​

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we require at least 48 hours notice. Notice must be provided by email or text and received no less than 48 hours before your scheduled appointment time.

​

You may reschedule your appointment one time within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment at no charge, provided the request is sent by email or text and confirmed by our office. This courtesy is offered to support unexpected circumstances and should be used thoughtfully.

​

Any cancellation made within 48 hours of the appointment time without rescheduling may be considered a late cancellation and may result in a $45 fee charged to the payment method on file.

If you do not attend your appointment without prior notice, it will be considered a no show and a $100 fee may be charged to the payment method on file.

Initial Consultations​

​

For free consultations and any other appointments offered at no cost, you may cancel or reschedule one time without penalty.

​

If a second cancellation or reschedule is required, a $45 non refundable deposit will be required to book a new appointment.

​

If you do not attend a complimentary appointment without notice, a $45 non refundable deposit will be required to schedule any future appointment.

​

We ask that you review your schedule carefully before booking and reserve last minute changes for true emergencies. These policies help ensure respect for your time, our time, and the availability of appointments for other clients.
